Download Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 (IE8)

Today you can download Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 and “put the web at your service”, IE8 promises to improve in many areas to start claiming back market share that IE lost to Firefox.

Microsoft claims that the new version is safer, easier and faster than ever before. Although some users report that Internet Explorer still is not supported by some websites, including banks.

We have had a look ourselves and like what we see, but for now it may be best to keep most browsing to Firefox until this latest version of Microsoft’s free web browser is out of beta.
