Apple iPhone 3G PRODUCT RED Christmas Special Edition

Post by: Phones Review on July 24th, 2008 | File Under Uncategorized

The news we are about to give you is from an unconfirmed source, but we will find out if this is all true.

We found via iPhone Savior a very cool looking Apple iPhone 3G and one like no other, forget the black iPhone 3G and forget about the white model too and welcome to the all new Christmas special edition Apple iPhone 3G.

iphone_red_3g

There may possibly be a PRODUCT RED Special Edition iPhone 3G for Christmas.

(PRODUCT) RED benefits the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa, and bringing this phone out will be very good indeed for such a good charity.

It is simple for Apple to change the colour to red seeing as the back casing is plastic, the only downside I can see is that Red iPhone’s will be hugely popular so would Apple be able to cope with demand.

Top Gear Video: Windows Mobile Phone Comes with Car

Post by: Phones Review on July 24th, 2008 | File Under Uncategorized

The future seems very good indeed for cars and mobile phones but combine the two together and you have something very special.

We saw on Top Gear the other day James May showing of a mobile phone, normally mobile phones come with Bluetooth, cameras, Windows software and many other special features.

Well this particular phone comes with a car; the car is the Renault Megane Coupe Concept.

The mobile phone will control the headlights, open the doors, turns on the funky interior lights and even starts the engine, pretty cool ah.

The only downside is that Renault will never put this car into production which is bloody madness.

I would love to use my iPhone or BlackBerry to control my car. Please watch the Top Gear video below and then let us know what you think.

Japanese iPhone 3G not friendly with perverts

Post by: webmaster on July 24th, 2008 | File Under Uncategorized

Perverts in Japan can’t take anymore sneaky pictures up women’s skirts as all cell phones including the new released iPhone 3G now in Japan cannot be set to mute for the camera shutter sound even if the phone is in silent mode. Phones with high resolution cameras have caused a perpetual increase in profane activities like taking upskirt and downblouse shots. According to Nobuyuki Hayashi, a tech reporter based in Tokyo, all cell phones sold in Japan will make a conspicuous shutter sound or say the word “cheese” when snap on the camera.

Yes, that’s a good thing, to reduce MFs taking upskirt shots, if they do they will get a bitch slap. Ladies if you here the shutter sound just turn around and give a slap. Look carefully, just in case you slap a tourist with camera.

2day’s Joke: How I was born?

Post by: webmaster on July 24th, 2008 | File Under Uncategorized

This joke is taken from jokediary.com which I think somehow related to tech. There’s a little boy ask his dad “daddy, how I was born?” and his dad replied:

‘Well, son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway! Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. Then I set up a date via e-mail with your Mom and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a little Pop-Up appeared that said:

You got Male!

[Thanks Evelyn]

Talking about Nintendo Buckle, you will think of NES controller remake into a belt buckle. Hell no, they make the whole NES console into a buckle and the cool thing is the console is still functional. Attach that NES Buckle on your belt and you can play your NES anywhere, just look for outlet and TV. Well, it’s for sale, 300 bucks for one, blek. Can your “stick” stands after few hours of playing when console gets hotter and hotter? Video after the break.

Follow These Twitter Users - They’re Just Like You

Post by: Darren Rowse on July 23rd, 2008 | File Under Uncategorized

ProBlogger reader - I’d like to introduce you to some new friends - around 700 of them (and counting).

Over the weekend, on a whim, I started the ProBlogger Social Media Love-In as a way of linking you as readers of this blog together via social media. In that post I invited you to submit your social media profiles in comments and then to start be-friending one another.

The response was swift and overwhelming with around 700 people participating.

Reports started tricking in of people getting a lot of new friends and making all kinds of useful connections. The ProBlogger community spun out to all kinds of places as people began to connect and start working together on sites like Twitter, Plurk, Facebook, Myspace, Pownce, StumbleUpon, Digg and more.

As I began to watch what was happening I began to ask myself how I could make the long and scattered list of profiles more helpful. Some readers were content to surf down the comments list and start adding friends - but could the information be presented better?

I got in touch with Lara and asked her if she wanted a couple of days work to organize the lists. She agreed and today we’re rolling out a group of Twitter users (the most popular profile link left).

Lara has created a page of 538 Twitter profiles here.

Yes - that’s 538 ProBlogger readers who want to connect, work together and learn from one another.

As I was scanning down the list today it struck me that almost everyone on this list has a blog and as a result the collective influence that we have as a group is quite amazing. If on average we connect with 100 people a week each we’re influencing 53,800 people each week. I suspect the number is far greater than that because there’s some pretty significant bloggers on the list.

As I’ve mentioned on the twitter list page - over 500 people is a lot to follow on Twitter so you might not end up following them all - but do try to add as many as you can and see which ones connect with you most to stick with.

In the coming days Lara will compile more of these lists (one for each type of social media and one more miscellaneous list) so if you’re not a twitter user hopefully there will be a great list for you in the days ahead.

Missed Out On Submitting Your Profiles?

If you missed out on the 24 hour window where we allowed people to submit profiles don’t worry. The beauty of this project is that by befriending others who did you’re still going to make some great connections. We might open this up again at some point in the future but in the mean time I’d start with the lists that we’re publishing this week.
